MONDAY PHOTO-A-WEEK

Hi everyone,

Sorry I'm late with my Monday photos but I wasn't getting any better after taking my asthma medications for a week so went back to the doctor. I'm now battling a chest infection but, with antibiotics, I should hopefully notice a marked improvement very soon. Again, thanks so much for all your well wishes and concern.

As I haven't been well, I didn't get out to take pics but I grabbed an opportunity this morning when I noticed my frangipani (plumeria) starting to bloom. Not the best time of day to take pics as the sun was pretty darned bright but it will have to do.

then I noticed this little guy crawling around so went in for a closer pic

I hope to post about my Artist's Way week tomorrow.

Love, light, good health, and peace to you all ~

  5. Hi Serena!
So glad you got some good meds and hopefully you'll be feeling 100% better very soon.
I've been lucky so far, but the flu has hit our area and it's probably just a matter of time.
Rest and take care of yourself♥
Thanks for the nice comments too!

  7. Cool photos Serena. Listen I have had asthma all my life and I went through years of the samanol in halers and steroids and I found a natural remedy which really brings it under control.

Bassically it is apple cider vinegar (2 tbl spoons in a cup of hot water) and you inhale the vapour from the hot drink as you drink it. It works well for me and some other peple who have tried it.

Another thing is to eat honey from a local hive. There is something in the local bee pollen which makes one deal with flare up more easily.

The inhalers, and in particular the steroids are great in an emergency, but they can be addictive too. Finding a balance to deal with it seems to have worked best for me.

    Best wishes.

  8. Your plumeria is just starting to bloom and mine is losing all its leaves. It's not warm enough here to bloom the entire year.

Hope your infections go away soon. I hate being sick! Maybe sit out in the sun and let it bake out of you. That always seems to work for me, whether I'm sick or not.
